The Certificate IV in Business is nationally recognised qualification. The qualification is designed to suit to a range of individuals who use well-developed administrative skills and broad knowledge base in wide variety of administrative contexts. Graduates will apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems, and analyse information from a variety of sources. In addition to technical skills and expertise, they will also develop general employability skills required by industry such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving and self-management. The underlying aim of this course is to offer a useful and practical qualification for students interested in a career in the area of business administration requiring administration and office management support functions. The course is delivered over a year which includes 36 weeks (i.e. 4 terms) of teaching and 16 weeks of holiday.
